Having problems swaping a d16z6 in my d4rWell wats good i had my 4 dr 4 awile nd im trying 2 swap a d16z6 into my 89 civic sedan but having problems i c dat all u guys knoe wat yall r duin cause yalls look good well everything iz dne to it boarded it out nd port nd polished it it looks sharp but having problems with the wiring the v tec nd the 02 sensor cause im using an acura engine harness i knoe it works cause we did well i wasnt there for the whole thing but my boy did it nd b4 he left the sedan ran hard so i knoe its possible cause everything wires up but the engine harness im using it wasnt a v tec so i gotta rewire it but dnt knoe ware the wires go pls can somone help or if ur around my area or will pick u up i just need my car dne pls the vtec nd the 02 sensor will put up pics as soon as the car is dne looking 4ward to meeting all of u in a meet good look in advance in cae yall dnt knoe wat that means thk u in advance

I have the A6/Z6 in mine. I had the wire harness from an Si. It seemed to work out fine. Oh, but i did get the rywire harness to connect when i swapped over to OBD1. Everything was so easy. . it was plug and play.
Do you have the right ECU and everything?

I have a y7/z6 with a CRX Si Engine Harness and a homemade OBD0-->OBD1 conversion harness on a chipped P28. I would do as 89civicracer said and make sure you have the right ECU. Are you using any wiring diagrams to help you along the way or are you just assuming a plug-and-play situation?

yea i do have a p28 ecu everything to convert to obd1 thks alot really i have everything its just the guy that wuz supposed to come nd du it he finally called nd said he was going to du it... im still a lil new to this honda swaps now give me ne american muscle car nd ill help ne 1 of u out just in case yall have ne questions on american muscle thks alot both of u good look

If you want my 2cents, ditch the integra harness. Just clip the distributor plugs. Then just run the wires for the v-tec solenoid, oxygen sensor heaters. and the distributors, all the wiring info is available in the tech info section. And if you cant figure it out from that, maybe your better off having someone else do it for you.

form what i gather he cant get the vtec and O2 sencor to go with the acura engine loom.
why dont u use the EF look with a piggy back to kick in vtec?
I assume its a sohc vtec engine?

nah good look tho my boi iz duin it rite now wit the acura harness but thks ne way iight i just put the pick up now of the engine tho while itz on the lift
