Yep, my previous EX had ebay sleeves and stock struts. The ride is horrible if you're maxed out, however it works. However, do not keep the setup forever. It will ruin your sedan over time.

Rough ride = sedan falls to pieces.

How does it ruin the car??

Stress applied to the uni body causes it to flex. this flexing weakens the structure and also makes it less rigid. The effects are greater the greater the forces applied.
Ebay coil overs are the most likely to bottom out, and that puts a lot of stress on the car. And it doesn't have to be through the suspension. Smacking a speed bump with the tow hooks is about the worst.
This is another reason to go with the softest motor mounts that you need. In racing applications high horsepower can tear stock mounts. soft mounts can also be a cause of wheel hop. But the first place to address for wheel hop on our cars are to change out the radius rod bushings to urethane and replace any broken motor mounts.

PS i got monroe sensa-trac struts for cheep from my work, but they are too soft to go with my skunk 2 springs, if someones got something softer (like the tein-S tech) and want to trade, i have put about 15 miles on them.
They are such a high spring rate that the rears don't even have preload.
They really belong on some AGX, illuminas, koni yellows or skunk 2 sports.

Yeah, i've been into making civics faster before the fast and the furious came out, which i don't mind, a lot of people hate what those movies did, but i look at what we have for aftermarket support, and i know it wouldn't be as strong.
Spring rates (progressive, starting at softest/ then the firm)
front: / 257/559 Lbs/in
rear: / 112/485 Lbs/in
It doesn't take a whole lot of stroke to go to the firm, maybe 1" But they need it that way, they make the car pretty low.
I verified with the bench tester we have at school, made a graph, but doubt i can find it, that was like 8 months ago.
I did put the prelude/accord shorter front shocks on.....i myself cant decide whether to buy softer springs or stiffer shocks......

What struts are these??
Cuz I'm going to buy some cheap ebay crap for now and wait maybe later to upgrade. How should I do the setup? Should I just use ebay coils on my stock struts or will they blow? I want to max them out btw.

Maxing out ebay coils will 99.999% guarantee that you will blow out your shocks. Spend the little bit of extra money and go for a decent spring like a tein.

I would just save save up for a bit and buy a quality set of coilovers or lowering springs. It is cheaper in the long run to buy quality parts first.
Just my thoughts

Extending the top hats take quite a bit of time and measuring and still ride like crap with egay coils.

I haven't heard anything about the dropzones...but I love my Skunk2 sport shocks, they made a noticable difference and only set me back about $380 after shipping (from cali to maryland).
