don't know what i need....... HELP!!!!

So I was on the freeway the other night and it was a full car (2 big guys & 3 others) and once I reached 65 MPH I noticed that I was losing traction and my friend grabbed the steering wheel and jerked it and I was swerving all over the lane I had to reduce speed to regain control. Any suggestions to prevent that from happening again?

Tell your friend to calm his ass and walk home next time he yanks the wheel at highway speeds.

Trust me I smacked him hella hard but my focus is why did happen and how do prevent it from happening again.

Was the road icy? I don't see how an ef with around 850 lbs of people in it could just lose traction. Were your front tires spinning or rear tires sliding?

no wasn't icy or wet at all. completely dry and actually i'd say it was more near around 1,000 all together.

Very interesting.  Maybe there was a fine sediment on the road. I experienced a similar situation before in a road construction zone. I was driving my gto, and had scary oversteer.  My good friend following me in his crx nearly hit a rail from understeer. There was some fine gravel in the road.

Ef sedans are only rated at a maximum of 830 lbs.  The closesed ive ever been to that is about 750 and I dont care for the way they feel at that with stock suspension.  A lot of your problem may have a lot to do the age of the suspension and having to much weight in your car.

Shit I would have punched my homie in the nuts. Lol. All my friends know the only time they touch the wheel is when I'm lighting the bowl. Haha

I had the same thing happen to me in my hatch one time. We ended up narrowing down the culprit to bald 175/60 tires, loose gravel, and the tire hit one of the painted stripes all at the same time.

Kinda glad to see that I'm not the only who's experience this (not saying happy to hear others were in danger) but I think 89 LX SOHC ZC has it cause I know my suspension is pretty much shot and there was well over 830 lbs in the car but I do appreciate all of the info given.
