D15B Dual Carb?

I think saw somewhere, that in other countries (not the U.S.) there was a D15B with dual carbs straight from the factory. Is this true, and does anyone know where I could try to find this setup? I would really like to run that head and carb combo on my sedan.

Yes,they did offer a 16vavle dual carb motor. Very Happy

Wow! that was a quick reply. Thanks.

Now if I could just get my hands on one.

When I bought an engine from a japanese supplier it came with dual carbs.  Just used my dpi on it.  I hate messing with dual carbs.

Practically every market other then the US had carb's on their sedans. I've owned one, carb's are awesome.

Any one got a D15B4 head laying around with dual carbs? Just give me 5 to 7 weeks for my tax return to come back  Very Happy

If you know where to look you'll be able to pick one up for practically nothing.

I got a import D15B with duel carbs.... they are highly complex and a bitch to set up. its also a good idea to use the original ECU to control them.

its best to find 1400 duel carbs as they are MUCH easier to set up.

Good looking out, thanks man.

Does the 1400 not use an electronic control system?

nope, it runs like the single carb setup, so no electronic control.

should we get a engine section...?? why is this in the transmission section???

It's in the 'Drivetrain' section. "Engine/Transmission related discussion."
