D15 tranny

would a D15B bolt up with any d series tranny? because im going to change the engine and i dont know if the output shaft of the tranny would be a problem bolting up with the engine because ive heard that some trannys have one more spline than others.

88 have 21 89-00 have  20, and that just means you have to use a 88 trans, doesnt mean they wont bolt up, they will.  All of them

yea if you have an 88 tranny, you will need a clutch disc from an 88, and a pressure plate from an 89+  a real hassle, we have been through it.
