Car theft around you?

How bad is car theft around where you live?

Here in Minnesota it seems like at least one or two Hondas/Acuras are stolen every month.

its pretty bad in pa.  i have an ef now because someone stole and stripped my ek.  although i should probably thank that person because i love this car so much more.

Dang I wish it was like that where I live.  Im nervous to drive to the cities in my car.
whoa its len 2

In Socal a car is stolen by the time you read this sentance. Another is stolen by the time you finish reading this post. And by the time the next poster posts a post, the first car that was stolen is probably stripped already.  Laughing

Yeah I hear south st. paul is a no no for hondas to sit out on the street or any modified car for that fact.

We had a string of thefts all summer last year here in fargo. I happened to be on of the victims and I hate leaving my car outside now because of that.

Yeah, my buddies EG was stripped of its grill, headlights, seats, ECU, and steering wheel in the parking lot while he was at work!

Thank god my sedan goes from my garage to the parking lot at work where you need a key card and are video recorded going in and out. Before we had the gates someone was coming in and cutting the catalytic converters out of all the trucks in the parking lot. This state is full of f*ckin low life bottom dwellers

wow.  sounds like your parking lot is pretty secure

My friend had a 97 GSR with a JDM front end and a JDM ITR swap, thieves took it.  was found the next day in a ally with the engine and front end gone along with the wheels that were on it

It really doesn't take long to strip a car if you have 4 or 5 guys that know what they are going. Im not saying im a theif or have stolen cars but with 4 guys you could probably remove an engine in 30-45 minutes.

Oh yeah, easily, especially the way they work.

In norcal you have to watch who drives behind you at night. these theives mimic your every move and take your schedule seriously. From what i have been told and have seen, if the theives want it, theyll take it even if its hidden from the view of the public or in plain view. Show winning cars get stolen out of garages, rims stolen off of cars without the car moved, cars lifted out of their car spaces using repo type tow trucks, tow trucks towing away car, cars pushed down the street then started and driven away... Most of the times youll find the car not far away stripped to the last piece of lint or most times never found. I would say this is by far the scariest state to live in with our cars. My homie just tonight had a car following him home from a local get together and was shocked when he noticed he was followed. He quickly lost the stalker and got a glimpse of the car and drivers along with the passengers. He was so tripped out that i came along and we retraced our route back to the meet and home

my area where i live is pretty good but the surrounding areas are bullshit. i helped the cops put 3 low lifes in jail. k i live in cali. my friends car had oregon plates. so dumbass' thought he didnt have friends around here in cali since he had oregon plates. fuckn low lifes put his parts on craigslist and im always on craigslist. i ran into an ad that sounded like my friends parts out of his car. but i installed everything in his car. his momo steering and one piece of his nrg quick release on craigslist. the other piece of the nrg hub was still in the car. and they had his vtec controller on there to. so i called the low lifes and met up with them at gas station of course i was strapped. it was his steering wheel. so i bought it and called the cops and met the cops at my friends house. I had the guys license plate and name down and telephone number. the GTA cops were following the low lifes around for a couple weeks and gathered a whole bunch of shit on these faggets. and then they called me and wanted to step-up a sting operation and arrest these fucks. so i called the low lifes and asked them if they still had the vtec and they still had it, so i met up with the GTA cops and one rode with me and 5 other GTA cops were scattered around the empty parking lot i set up with the low lifes so i met up with the faggets and the cop that was with me. pretending he was buying it. the low lifes show me the vtec controller and the cop asks me if its the one and i said yes. and 5 cop cars swarmed in and put the 3 low lifes at gun point. ahah i was just laughing so hard. and the cops had search warrants for each fagget who was in the car to go to their house and raid it. LMFAO!!!!!! Very Happy

If you have a EG up you might wanna watch were you leave it, but that is the city. Where Im at not so much.

The worst was a group that stoll cars with swaps, and just cut the whole front off the care and left the ass end where ever.
