(Battle of the D-Series)Iight well i wanted to know if all you sedan whores lol would know which D-Series motor and block is the best,together for all motor .....Pls i need all the info i can get like which head goes better with any block...So far i keep getting A6 block with z6 head....remember i need the best option cause wat ever info i get from yall umma go with it ....So pls dnt bring any B-series into the subject i already know they are better ...and stronger stock...And i really need a good set-up cause i will be moving back to new jersey in may and my friend has 2 sedan one with a ls in it ...And now he is putting together a sohc to shit on the dohc and we wanna do this together to show them sohc still got it i have the money now so yea i need all motor ....thanks in advance for all the info to come .......cmon start posting lol ...

z6 or a6 with z6 head, p29 pistons, shave the head .10, y8 headgasket and itb with a GOOD header. By good header I don't mean any of this 19.99 vatozone special shit. That should get you started. You could always add a nice cam with a spring upgrade. Depends on your budget.

im going to do a y8 head with a y7 bottom end..perfect ls-vtec single cam setup, but im running boost, plan on doing 35 pounds race and 15 daily

The JDM 3 stage VTEC SOHC or the DOHC ZC.
Both rated at around 130 horses.

doesn't the y8 intake manifold flow the best out of any d series intake manifold. Im pretty sure honda tuning had an article about this like a year ago.

we got this on our 160i EK's, its hard to find one here....
