B18a1 Swap plug issue????

Ok guyz, i was just going to leave this unplugged, but my gut is telling me not to. Here's the situation; I swapped over my ex harness onto the ls and everything plugged right up with no problems except for one sensor. The sensor i'm talking about is right next to the oil pressure sensor and knock sensor. On the single cam it didn't exist but it does on the ls. The plug thats left off of my harness use to plug into the back of the d series intake manifold. The ls doesn't have that plug at all.
Question.....

Can i just leave this unplugged, or is it needed?

If it's needed, how do i get this sucker plugged in correctly?

here are some pics.....

This is the sensor on the ls.....(green plug)

This is the plug left off my ex harness.

This is where my harness originally plugged into...

This is the plug off the ls harness that pluggs into the green sensor

What should i do????
jkgonzalez3

the plug on the back of the block is for the fan switch you need that.
Ef3typeS

Why is the fan switch all the way back there?
And where is my original fan switch plug? Isn't it around my radiator?
jkgonzalez3

that's how they all are. stock d series b series they have them at the back of the block next to the oil pressure switch.
Ef3typeS

Confused  How come i don't have that plug on my harness then? Oristhat plug on the chassy somewhere??
jkgonzalez3

wait hold on let me check something i think i messed up i think that's something else.
Clipse

that is his knock sensor foo!  fan switch is on the head near the dizzy.
jkgonzalez3

pretty sure the fan switch is on the back of the block but i think its that black plug on top.

I know on the D series, some were on the back of the block, and some were on the thermostat housing.

I think it depends on whether it's obd0 or obd1

Obd0 had it next to the oil filter.
Clipse

you have your thermo sensor and your fan switch on your head.
Ef3typeS

yeah thats what i thought.  so there's three sensors on the block. Oil pressure, Knock sensor, and........?

ok after talking with some veterians, they said to leave it unplugged and that it should be fine.  I forgot what they said it was for, but all i know is that i don't need it so i'm happy  Very Happy .
The only things missing are the mounts that seem to be mad backed up at innovative  Confused hopefully they'll get here by next week so i can finally get this sucker running. Anyways, thanks guys for all the help and input...
Ef3typeS

just an update for you guys, The motor is in and running with no cels or anything.  Twisted Evil  Everything is running fine except for a slight surge in rpm's at start up..... Is it the IACV acting up? Also i'm not quite sure if my vacumms are hookep up correctly since it has five thousand more lines to connect to it. Does anyone know exactly how the vacuum hoses go connected?? I'll post a pic up of the final result a little later. Dam i should of made a quick build thread. oh well,  Rolling Eyes  maybe next time.....
