Automatic Seat Belt Warranty???Whats up guys, i was just wondering if anyone new if our seat belts have a lifetime warranty on them. I know the Da's do but wasn't to sure about our ef's. I ask because my seat belt motors seem to be dead. I don't want to take my car to a dealer and have them tell me you owe us 400 dollars or something.
Thanks in advanced..

I would like to know as well, my passenger side belt stopped working and they want way too much for the parts to fix it.

all cars with automatic belts have a lifetime warranty and they should fix it for you.
but i heard that if they have been serviced once then that's it but i doubt it.
and i hope you have a better time with the dealers than i did. they dragged their ass when i took my parents nissan quest in especially since i wasn't paying them.

I would think it would cause it is part of the life safety of the car. . that stuff should be covered. .

do you have to be the original owner or just the present owner for the car to qualify to get the automatic seat belts fixed...?

nope it should not matter.

so what do you do just call up a dealer and asked to get them serviced free of charge...?

go down their and tell that they don't work and they should fix em for free it's the law on all auto belts. that's probably the only good thing about them damn things.
