What this guy said Volvo 740 or the Mk3 GTI lips are cool to. With it being only like $10-15 bucks its almost free so then you can go buy coilovers or my favorite Tein S techs.
incendiaryrain

That's cool.I'll have to look into that. What are some good springs to get? Anyone have some to sell? I want to lower it like 1.5-2 in
4dred6

I've heard those are good springs, they will lower your car like 2 in.  And is one of the most respected suspension out there. (Teins)

Tein S Techs are what I recommend to anyone looking for a Spring they are a stiff ride and lower it 1.80 in Front and 1.75 in the rear and are made to work with OEM struts so they wont leak and blow after a month of use. they can be had for around $100 used or about $200 new.
incendiaryrain

That sounds good to me. I just want to lower it some. I'm not going to be racing or anything. As long as it doesn't bottom out or scrape too much I'm happy
incendiaryrain

The s techs look kinda high though.. Mostly wanted to close that wheel gap
HondaJunkie

They are a higher spring but closing that wheel gap on I assume 13" or 14" steelies you have will make that car scrape on the ground im pretty sure. I like s techs because of how stiff they ride it's not like alot of the other springs on the market but just search around and im sure you will find the spring combo that works best for you and your car.
4dred6

Or you can get some Fuction & form coil overs for around $550
incendiaryrain

I could get s techs then get some 15s. I kinda like the look of the widened steelies..
4dred6

I always wanted a set of rtawd Wagon steelies

You will be fine with the wheels you have now for teins I was just saying if you plan to go lower like 2.5" or more id look into bigger wheels and like 4dr said maybe look into a full body coilover system  that might fit your needs better but are also alot more expensive.

Those look excellent but i wouldnt want to know how much they would charge to rebarrel the rims =/
incendiaryrain

It would be awesome though. I was looking at the diamond racing wheels though.they're cheap and you can get any size
HondaJunkie

Yea I like diamonds alot thats a good choice choose your offset wisely I like 0 =) but be prepared to roll those fenders some haha.
incendiaryrain

I was thinking +15 just so i wouldn't have to roll too much.
HondaJunkie

Oh yea you should be just fine then.
incendiaryrain

Well i have my car all planned out.. Now i need to start buying stuff! Hmm maybe after tax returns...
4dred6

Haha I might buy a rhd conversion with my tax money  Very Happy

I agree with both (lip & springs). LS mesh would look great against that color with a slight drop.
incendiaryrain

I have some fat fives on my old car. I think I'll just put those on. Cheap option and it looks good.
4dred6

Polished fat 5s look good on EFs. Again I don't like oem wheels, but they're better than steelies
EF4lyf3

Diamond racing wheels are my FAVORITE! I was looking into Marsh racing wheels but those are a pinch more expensive. Grab some LS meshes or some Fat 5s like he said and whip around on that for awhile. try to get an alignment to man, Nothing like having the shakes at 65+ Laughing . Do a lip and some coils tho. thats a great way to start ya heeeerd meh lol. good luck tho
jmanwantsboost

My eibach springs and tokico blue struts are great but if you want slammed they only lower an inch and a half in front and an inch in the rear. Smooth ride with the progressive rate springs. But they still seem soft. Good setup though. Wish I had more aggressive springs but I'd rather get upgraded sway bars.
incendiaryrain

I'm thinking about some h&r race springs
jmanwantsboost

Heard those are some of the best Wink
