90 dx z6 swapso i got a 90 dx that is gettin a z6 swap in...now I THOUGHT it was goin to be a 1day swap at my job(i work at a shop) BUT MAYNE WAS I WRONG!
i was thinkn take out the b2 put an si trany on it drop the z6 put harness and pop vtec! lol but nooooooooooo the car wanted to be a bitch with me...
i didnt kno i needed a 88 clutch to be able to use the si tranny with z6 due to the spindle count...so then i was gona use the stock dx tranny just cause i was lazy to leave and go get the clutch lol...
i got my dpfi to mpfi/ obd0 to obd1 harness off ebay from monotech909 with ecu jumper harness for 310 shipped...YES its better then rywire cause they charge seperate for the ecu jumper harness and if u have to send them a z6 harness they keep it afterwards...took out the z6 off my coupe and the b2 off the ef at my crib with some homeboys...took the car to the shop where i work at and droped in the z6...now got everything in the car cranked 1st time BUT! its too accelerated and I THINK either the MAP or TPS sensor is workin cause the car wont rev pass 2k sometimes 3k...the dizzy is new all the wiring is fine sooo thats why u think is either of the sensors...2moro ima change the throttle body with my friens eg to see if thats the problem...iv already tried another throttle body that i had layin around from a diff engine that had the same problem not revin pass 3k...other than that doin the actual swap was easy i did it in 2 days which is kinda slow considerin i did it at a shop with power tools but i ran into some unexpected problems JUST AS I DO IN EVERY SWAP IVE DONE this is my 1st ef tho sooo im new to all of it but yea ima keep yall posted on the progress even tho people BARELY write heres a couple of pics sorry if ther big took on my blackberry

already did and the car wont stay on it shuts off
and i forgot to mention that if u cover up the throttle body with your hand it idles normal as soon as you let go if accelerates by itself and idles up and down....ive also tried a chipped p28 and a stock p28 same thing
im just lost and hav no idea what it could b

it could be a bad tps or iac. do you have a coolant line running in and out of the iac? if you dont then it could cause your idle to go up and down and again it could be bad. also are all your vaccums line correct? if you have a vaccum line mixed up it or pinched could cause no idle. the last thing to check is timing. good luck.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, check your lines are connected.
If you connected your map sensor to the new one on the throttle body, be sure to block the superfluous outlet on the back of the manifold that would have connected to the obd0 sensor that would have been located on the firewall.
