How to Install 88/89 sedan corners on a 90/91 sedan.
NOTICE: I am not responsible for anything you do to your car. I will, however be more than happy to help anyone with questions and or problems that may occur during the process.
Here is a list of what your going to need:
89 sedan corner lights (amber, clear, or stock . Thats up to you.)
Philips Screw driver
Flat head Screw driver
Vice grips (last resort)
4 screw clip things off a 88-89 civic. (Use a flathead and be carefull when prying them off the car at the junkyard)
STEP#1: Open your hood and remove the screw holding your corner lamp in place. It's located near the top of your head light.
STEP#2: Pull your corner lamp out and remove both light plugs. Place the plugs to the side. If they're hanging too low, stick them in the hole where your corner lamps use to be. (this is so you don't step on them)
STEP#3: Using your phillips Screw driver and some pretty decent pressure, remove both screws that are holding this metal tab in place. If your having trouble getting to them, get your vice grips and bend the tab out for more clearance. (pic only has one screw as a reference)
You should be left with this in your hand
STEP#4: Get the clips you took off the 89 civic and push them into place. I only have one because the other one broke while trying to remove it from the 89 civic. You should use 2, but i've been rolling with one for over a week with no problems.
STEP#5: Take your 89 civic sedan corners and reinstall the bulbs on them. The bulbs go in the same place as the 90/91 corners.
STEP#6: Place the 89 civic lamp into place while making sure that the top black tab goes behind the fender tab to ensure proper fitment.
STEP#7: Align the screw holes with the clips and screw the lamps down.
STEP#8: Repeat the steps for the other side and enjoy your newly fitted 89 sedan corners.

LOL! I know what you guys mean. I work as a diesel mech and the shop provides these nitrile gloves for us, but when you're shoulder deep in grease and grime does it really matter if my hands stay clean? Thats why we have a wonderful product called Fast Orange!
But honestly after a while you get used to having the gloves on.
Nice corners BTW. I used to have ambers on my black hatch. LOVED THEM! Not sure how they would look on my white sedan.
