After a few years of driving it i decided to fix it up. it had a lot of body work to be done and dents to fix. i dont have too many pic of it from when i first started but I hope to use this forum to document my progress from here on out. Let me know what you guys think.

Ok, Sorry about there being no pics. I've been really busy lately. Heres what my sedan is looking like. It's been one hell of a project but its coming along.

Im hoping to get it ready for paint within the next month or so. Ive done ALOT of body work to get it to look like it does. Also I've scoured the depths of all my local Junkyards for parts. I really like the JDM rear wing. It completely changes the look of the car as a whole.

I wish I would have known about this forum when i started but keep checking back because ill keep you posted on everything as i do it. Much more pics to come!

That's not a JDM wing for a sedan.

What colour are you painting it?
4g4dErik

Well I'm Painting it Blue, when you see the interior itll make sense. by the way i finally found a picture of it when i first got it. [/img]

It doesn't look too bad in the picture but it was in pretty bad shape. It had been in an accident and the rear bumper was badly damaged and it had also been run into a barbed wire fence which tore up the front bumper and shattered the passenger side mirror. Since then I've replaced the mirrors, The rear bumper and done A LOT of tedious body work. The body itself was in pretty good condition so its not covered in bondo but filling the scratches left by the barbed wire was a long and stressful process. I'll soon post some of the pictures of some of the spots that i worked on.

i don't want to be an ass, but i'm not feeling the hood with the cowl induction, or the wal-mart/kragen special hubcaps. look for the oem honda chrome center caps. it'd look better IMO

lol... im right there with you & whats with the new "m3" mirrors?
4g4dErik

Yeah actually I'm not crazy about the hood anymore either. I'm planning on getting a new hood from a JY. The mirrors were broken in an accident so i got the M3 mirrors, idk, i like them. Plus I want everyone to realize that this is a project log. I'm obviously not finished with this car and it needs rims, I know that, but I need money to make that happen so it will happen eventually I just need to be able to afford it.

As do I
4g4dErik

Just replaced the headliner and it looks great, I'll be posting some pics tomorrow probably.
~Sp33~

Cool, what'd you use?
4g4dErik

I used real black headliner material and good spray headliner glue. i then used contact glue around the edges to keep a good hold and to prevent peeling. NOTE TO ALL! when doing headliners get the right stuff the first time, it will save you time, money and stress. I redid the headliner multiple times trying to cut corners with cheaper materials and nearly destroyed the actual OEM headliner. Not to mention the headliner material is very forgiving to surface imperfections on the headliner itself.
cleanRENO90

get some pics of it installed. but good work Very Happy
4g4dErik

Ok guys, heres how the headliner came out. Pretty decent for what i had to work with i think. I still have to finish the inner trim and install the handles and sun shades.
4g4dErik

Heres the interior theme im going for. (Dash is nowhere near done yet)
Im thinking about getting these cool clear gauge faces that are custom made for this model.
cleanRENO90

looking good. i like the headliner.
~Sp33~

Clear gauge faces? Haven't seen em.
4g4dErik

yeah heres the link for the clear gauges.http://www.importintelligence.com/XtalGauges.htm
~Sp33~

True, never seen those before.
4g4dErik

I haven't posted anything for quite some time but i have still been hard at work on my 4g4d. I have decided to paint her white which has led me to repainting my interior white in black rather tan blue and black. also I'm going for a Mugen factory tuned look. I know there was never such a thing or at least not at this caliber but I think it should look pretty sharp.
4g4dErik

I just started to redo the door panels with the new white theme. there was no way i could settle with the tired, 20 year weathered, tan and brown panels so i did some paint and stain work. i also replaced the cloth section with black pleather. let me know what you think...

Nice....Good Job on those door panels!
4g4dErik

Thanks it was alot of work but def worth it. I should have a lot more posts of all the diy i have done to the interior. Just finished my custom shifter letters ill post a pic soon
Mr.ef2sedan

door panels came out nice.
~Sp33~

I had to swap out bits of my interior from my previous car to get rid of painted interior pieces.
4g4dErik

Tru I really just wanted a black interior. I got my precut tint in the mail yesterday from good ol ebay. Im gonna try my hand at tinting.. Wish me luck. its gonna be 5 %.
~Sp33~

Goodluck! I heard it's a PITA. Especially the rear window.
4g4dErik

Well failed miserably with the tinting. I mean it looked good but it was far from looking up to my standards and didnt seem like it would last too long under the sun. i think im getting a pro to do it.
