4GSEDAN's 1991 LX

Here is what is done to the car so far:
1989 front bumper, factory LX front lip, rear bumper, tail lights, and soon to be door trim.
Skunk2 Sport Shocks and Lowering Springs
2008 Honda Fit Sport 15 inch Rims w/ Kumho Ecsta AST 195/50/R15 tires
Innovative 75A D-series motor mounts

Here are some pics of what it looked like when I got it and what it looks like now.

The different bumper gives it a completely new look.

thanks guys.

What's next on your cars agenda?
4GSEDAN

88-89 door trim
relocate battery to trunk
paint bumpers black (from thier current blue)
wire tuck
then hopefully on to more suspension upgrades and engine work...but that is a little way down the road..
~Sp33~

I didn't even notice the bumpers were blue.

It'll be good to see the 88-89 door trim on there.
4GSEDAN

I pulled most of the 88-89 trim off my other car before getting rid of it...now just waiting on a few parts from Honda.

the blue and tan doesn't look bad, but black and tan would be way better Very Happy
4GSEDAN

I got the 88-89 door protectors, then painted everything black to match. Now all I need is to slightly untint the turn signals, find a black center garnish, get some window visors and the exterior is done.

brown ftw. Looks great.

Car looks real good! The body looks to be very straight. I have been wanting to put 88-89 bumpers and door trim on my 91. I have always liked the bumper lights better on the 88-89's
h22ed6

looks very clean, all I would do is swap in a b16 and call it a day
4GSEDAN

thanks guys.

The body is fairly straight, has a bit of hail damage on the hood and a couple door dings.

I think the 88-89 bumpers and trim looks slightly more aggressive than the 90-91.

Taking some time today to update everyone on my ride.
I had a shop perform a DOHC ZC swap.
It is a ridiculous change from the old D15B2.
I am currently working through some idle surge issues and can't wait until the new clutch is broken in.

I also washed my car a couple days ago and snapped some shots.

And one of the best things about my car, the craftsman key.

lol, i agree, that key looks sick but i can also imagine what cops would say where i live too. haha. thats a beautiful ZC though!
4GSEDAN

Thanks for the compliments.

Yeah, I don't get hassled by the cops much, but the guy at the alignment shop thought I handed him a screw driver. My wife thinks I have too much time on my hands.

Did you tell her to get back to the kitchen?
