'91 EF from San Jose, CA Hello!Hey all,
I just found this site and I'm thrilled that there is such a following!
I have owned my trusty EF since 1998.
It is a '91 LX, Maroon 5 spd.
Bone stock drivetrain
Neuspeed sport springs
'92 GS-R wheels on 195/60/14 Yoko AVS ES100(sold)
Stock 14" steelies on 185/60/14 ES 100( Current)
Stock 13" steelies
Just hit 217k miles, been getting 39-40mpg on our 90mile/day commute...400miles a tank is good these days
I have always wanted to do a late-model drivetrain swap ie B16/B18 but the cost of the swap outweighed the value of the car.
I am currently looking for a set of JDM wheels but there are so many tasty ones out there. Might buy a set of HX's unless someone tells me no!
Is there a wheel thread on this site?
Is there an exhaust system that is popular?
I am a car nut and I love cars and the stories of their owners.
My track/show/project car is a 1967.5 Datsun Roadster with an S14 SR20DE powerplant from a Nissan Silvia:

And this is my current track car, 2006 350z:

Welcome! Your Datsun is beautiful. That's awesome that you've owned the sedan for so long.

Why do you mess with civics when you have two other beautiful cars like the datsun and the 350z? Anyways you civic is very nice looking and I'm jealous of your collection.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I am considering these HX-like wheels...any thoughts? I think they look sick!

Why do I play with Civics?
It was my first car, the one that got me through college.
I remember taking the air intake piping all the way to the throttle body off...just so I could hear the sound!
THere is something special about the EF sedan...it has character.
I love the way the road rushes in front of you over that super low hood line. It's a 4-door go-kart.
I've been surrounded by Datsun/Nissan guys since I was a kid, hence the Datsun love.
Every car has there own feel. The Z does almost everything well, but it's heavy. THe roadster is the complete opposite. You feel everything and it is loud and stiff. Both are RWD.
The Civic being FWD and low on power is kind of like a Miata to me...underpowered but so much fun to drive at the limit! I also like the shifter feel, and the whole sleeper mentality with numerous engine swaps available.

The wheels on the roadster are Panasports...a buddy of mine has SSR RS-8s, similar to watts.
I'd kill for a set!
