I have a question about the trim on the exterior. Its the chrome stuff around the doors and the windshield. Is this removable AND reusable? If so, how do i remove it. I mainly need to remove it from around the front and rear windshield. Any help would be great.  Confused

I've never managed to get the windshield one off, but the ones on the doors are removable/ reusable as long as your careful.

I admit i never tried to put mine back on, but they seemed to keep shape. Perhaps some double sided tape might persuade them.

I removed one from the pass side door. It looks like all it is is double sided sticky tape. I have contimplated on not even putting them back on. The only reason i ask is because im preping the car for paint right now and i know thats one of the main spots cracking/chiping most often occures from what i have seen. My neighbor owns a windshield/window installation company. Maybe i will speak with him. Im trying to avoid ruining the windshield seal and save me some money ya know. thanks for the help

Make sure you have spare clips, they're a PITA to get off - I broke half of mine, the other half fell into the door.

instead of making a new thread im just gonna post in this one. One thing I want to clarify is that the chrome trim around the doors can be removed and doesnt need to stay on the car? and I assume the chrome trim around the windshield and rear window can be removed by pulling the glass?
