Nice. .has the ecu been tuned?
I find that helps a lot. .
I am currently looking for a stage 3 cam, springs and retainers from my set up. Then retune and see where it sits. . Before, when i was building my motor, getting the cam was priority one, now, i am looking for just a good deal on it all. . I have other things in front of the engine stuff right now. . _________________ 無限Power///

Stage 3 cam? Your car would idle like shit wouldn't it? _________________

Not if it was tuned properly. .
I had the JG301X with springs and retainers in my D16A6 before the head gasket blew and it idled perfect. . no crazy lumps or anything. .
It was tuned by this guy locally on ectune. . The car pulled hard. .
I can just imagine what it would do with vtec. . .

im sorry but i am going to have to disagree on that one
if you have stage 3 or any cams that are loopy thats gonna affect your idle no matter the tune...yes a tune will help the idle but still with something as crazy as stage 3 your idle is going to be bouncing
i have a stage 2 cam in 240 and it is retuned and people still ask me whats wrong with my car because the idle is ridiculous
and the cams in my civic still stock ecu need to upgrade to obd1 and get it dyno tuned but the idle is still rough and will be with aggressive cam setups |

im just gonna throw this out there.....
If you are runing a stage 2 or 3 cam, then the head wouldnt be stock...which would mean you would more than likely make more power than you did.
So it prob has crower stage 1 cams, that what most ls' or b20s run.
Im guessing you bought the motor witht he cams in it already?
