I have a fresssh jdm zc motor that pulls HAAARD. Ive had my car for only a month... already slammed it.. control arms and powercoated my "jdm" steelies... my goal power wise is too loose traction on the highway...
Where should i begin? I found a turbo setup for only 200.. missing a few parts. What type of tranny should i go for?? _________________ USDM Ed3 aka DUMPED MOB

$200 not bad i would get it as long as the turbo doesnt need to be rebuilt. it'll wind up costing more to repair then get a new turbo. i would buy the kit just for parts like manifold, oil lines, piping, bov, fmic, _________________ WSC#2 |

shit, sounds like the races in your city are pretty good. ours are small here in reno. there are a few quick cars here. a boosted mustang gt, a boosted, fully built, sleeved, bored, ek hatch running a gsr on 19lbs that is pushing 556 hp. there is a k20 ef 4door, a k20 eg. but i feel you on the boost option. single cams are slow. _________________ WSC#1

From what i heard.. the single jdm ZC is better then DOHC ZC.. the single ZC has more potential!!!! _________________ USDM Ed3 aka DUMPED MOB

The SOHC non VTEC JDM "ZC" is practically identical to the d16a6 in the CRX SI & EX models, has about 14hp less factory HP at the fly then the DOHC too.
There's more potential because you can use regular D series parts, which are well supported. _________________

I thought the JDM SOHC ZC had 120 hp where as the DOHC one is about 129 hp. _________________ 90 Civic Ex MT |

The regular SOHC ZC isn't VTEC. The VTEC SOHC ZC is rated at 130 at the fly.
