Ewwww the water jacket is all brown......my engine im rebuilding had some sludge in it too.
I have a ported and polished head, CRX SI ported and polished head(Revenge Motorsports http://revengemotorsports.com/services/porting), stock valves retainers and cam, 10,000rev crower springs installed with striped valve cover
i was asking $150 but i would let it go for $125, no core, i dont want it. i have gone V-tec and am not going back....... _________________ 1988 VTEC AWD (in the build)

IN!
(for a while now, havent had ADSL to get on the net.)
update..
I am going to put on a 160i sohc head with cam... here is why..
150 intake lobe 36mm
150 exhaust lobe 36mm
160i intake lobe 36.7mm
160i exhaust lobe 36.7mm
the lobes are .7 mm bigger. This wont affect performance too much with my single carb but should work nice with FI or Webers.
Its also not a good idea to put a used cam in another used head, thats asking for trouble.
cam measurement.
dirty head
new head gasket
All my valves. 16 valves = 16 times longer to assemble.
new valve compressor (works for Honda heads)
after cleaning the valves I put it all back ..
My old D15B head form SA auto parts..
Pretty dirty..
Dirty head off..
New head gasket on.
Runs perfectly!
I am getting pretty good acceleration too, something I didn't expect
I still have to dyno it but I am waiting for them to install a new local dyno.
This head has also been skimmed. I am really with the results so far.
Low presser Facet fuel pump & messy wiring.
All done.
Getting a free flow installed soon.
