Hey guys. I ended up selling my 91 civic hatch. The motor was burning oil like crazy and I wasn't in a position to be replacing the motor and fixing all the rust and little things that were bothering me. I replaced the hatchback with a ej1 which has been my on going  project for the last year. Also sold my wifes 97 civic lx after buying a 02' honda odyssey. My wifes been wanting to purchase another 5 speed civic to commute to work in since the odyssey isn't great on gas. We've both wanted to get a civic wagon for quite some time now and yesterday we finally found one. A 1991 civic wagon, 5 speed. Little rust and the interior's in pretty good shape except for a couple tears on the drivers seat.

Picture from the CL add.

It made the hour long drive back to our house and did great on the test drive. But, today we drove it to the dmv to get tags/title and when we went to leave it would't start. So, we had to have it towed to a shop and now we're waiting to find out what happened.

Yesterday I swapped the 13" steelies for my 14" steelies with ex/si hubcaps, scrubbed and wd40'd the engine bay and started detailing the interior. When it gets back from the shop I'll snap some better pics.

Same here, I didn't like them for the longest time. But, they've grown on me over the years. Thanks, Sadly the shop won't be able to check it out until next wednesday. Hopefully there's nothing serious wrong with it. I wish you luck on your search.

I made and offer on a driver side inner tail light on ebay. It was accepted today, $32 shipped. The other sellers wanted $70 and up. I'm still looking for a passenger side front corner light. I'm having a hard time finding one for a reasonable price.

Got the car back today. The mechanic said all he did was clean up the spark plugs and battery terminals and it fired right up. Only had to pay for the tow.

Here's a few pics of the interior and with the ex hubcaps/steelies.

Interior is still pretty dirty. I'm going to work on cleaning it up more today.

Inner tailight came in the mail today.

Pulled all the seats and lower interior panels to remove the carpet.

Cleaned up the floor. Put one seat back so I could park the car.

Also scrubbed and rinsed the carpet, removed the pin stripes, and installed my ej1 tape player. The stock one didn't work.

Installed the carpet.

And put all the trim peices back in and wiped them down with black magic.

Still need to pull the rear door panels and clean them and the seats. I'm headed to the junk yard to pick up a rear hatch hinge.

Picked up two hatch hinges off a 90 civic dx hatchback, one as a backup. Left is the new one, right is the frozen rusted one. Now I have a functional hatch : )

Now that the hatch opens, I could install the inner tailight. Before:

Took the wago to get inspected yesterday and it failed because the passenger side hood hinge, RTA bushing, and corner light. I ordered ES bushings, and corner light off ebay. Couldn't find a used hood hinge, but luckily the honda dealership had some in stock. Ordered it yesterday and picked it up today. Also, replaced the cap, rotor, and spark plugs.

Out with the old.

New OEM freshness.

Got the bushings installed and painted the corner lights amber with metalcast orange. Also had the car reinspected. It passed : ) The wagon is now on daily duty.

Haven't updated this in awhile. I bought a carpet extractor/cleaner and cleaned up the seats and rear cargo carpet.

Patched the holes in the driverseat with iron on patches.

Started gathering parts to refresh my suspension and installed a new clutch cable.

Made a cargo cover and added rear speakers. I plan on redoing it with 1/4-1/2in mdf and adding a hinge to function as a legit cargo cover.

Put my koni/gc with extended tophats from my ej1 on the wago.

I believe the no start condition was do to bad grounds because the headlights, tailights, and cluster bulbs were dimming while idling and decelerating.  I made new ground wires and cleaned/ re-tightened the ground terminal on the battery and haven't had a problem since.

Thanks man. The carpet and seats turned out pretty good compared to how it was when I first acquired it. The exterior although not terrible has a few spots where the previous owner used bondo to fix rust spots and what looks like house paint lol.

Where are you located? There's three wagons for sale within a 2-3hour distance from my area. One's a rt4wd.

Thanks man. I forgot about this thread. Here's some updates in no particular order.

Swapped my konigs from my ej1 to the wagon.

Installed energy suspension master bushing kit, prothane rear toe arm bushings, new lower balljoins, upper control arms, inner/outter tie rods, rack end bushing, and replaced the passenger side axle.

I had the dealership install new upper seat belts under warranty.  I got one of the last sets left, blue is no longer available.

Purchased a set of rear headrests, cleaned them up and installed.

New rear hatch struts installed.

There's more that I'm forgetting atm.
